If a person dies unexpectedly, someone will, no doubt, have already informed the police and/or emergency services. These government organisations will be able to guide you through what needs to be done.
You will most likely be in shock during this time, so it’s important to let yourself rely on your family and friends for support. It may also be a good idea to write down any important information as it could be difficult to retain at this time of distress.
The next few days may be very difficult and may be filled with decision-making. Just remember that it’s totally okay to ask friends and family for help at any stage.
