WARD, Gilbert Leonard (Gil). Of Palmerston North. Passed away suddenly on Thursday 10 November 2011, at Palmerston North Hospital, in his 90th year. Dearly loved husband and soulmate of the late Jean. Loved father and father-in-law of Graeme and Angela, Neil and Robyn, Bruce, Peter and Kerre.
Loved granddad of Melanie, Keren, Ben; Hamish, Marcus; Jason; Ryan and Nicole, Gemma, Scott, and Katie. “Will be sadly missed by us all”. A service to celebrate Gil’s life will be held in the Terracehaven Chapel, 697 Main Street, Palmerston North, on Monday 21 November 2011, at 1.30pm, followed by private cremation. In lieu of flowers, a donation made to The Cancer Society, P O Box 5171, Palmerston North 4441, would be appreciated or may be left in the Chapel foyer.
