Quentin left his physical body on June 7th 2010. The funeral ceremony was held at the Cresswood Chapel in Hastings, Hawke's Bay, New Zealand on Friday 11th June.In keeping with Anthroposophical principles, Quentin rested at home during the 4 days prior to the funeral ceremony. During these days family and friends visited Quentin to bid him farewell in their own special ways.I offer my deep appreciation to his work colleagues and friends at the Hastings Farmers Market in Hawke's Bay. It was through your friendship and support that he found the inspiration to write his book 'Nutrition For Blokes'.Quentin's friends are scattered all over the world, keeping in touch via the internet. I will always remember and be eternally thankful for the friendhip and support you gave to Quentin. You also helped helped him realise his dream of publishing his book and setting up his website. Quentin's ashes lie beneath a Kowhai tree in the park where we walked our dogs, Gypsy and Rex. His tree lies to the left of his seat donated by family and friends. Gypsy's ashes lie under a Kowhai tree to the right of Quentin's seat.I chose the Kowhai tree as it is among the most beautiful of our flowering trees in New Zealand. It offers food and shelter to wild life and beauty to the world. Throughout each season Quentin and Gypsy will always contribute to this universal gift.
